Respite care is temporary care for people with disabilities that allow their families to take a short break from the routine of caregiving.
There are several different kinds of respite care: a caregiver may come to your home or you may take your child to a center. There are also overnight camps and recreation programs available for children and youth with special health care needs.
To find care for your child, contact the regional center at 877-568-5205 about available respite services in your area.
