NERCThe Northeast Regional Center for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs is part of a Statewide CYSHCN Network that is available to help answer your questions.

We Have Information on Your Child’s Special Needs:

  • Books and Articles – We can recommend print materials related to diagnosis, education, community living, emotional supports and more.
  • Audio Visuals – We can help you locate videos, CDs, and tapes on specific conditions, general resources and special education.
  • Web sites – We can give you the addresses for web sites on almost any topic from parent support to rare genetic conditions, and a location to access a computer.
  • Parent Training – Learn about opportunities for conferences and workshops on a variety of topics.
  • Local programs – Ask about what resources and services are available in your community.
  • Local Public Health Departments – Ask about your county’s local public health department/agency and how they might help your family.
